Switzerland-born Maya Stojan (www.mayastojan.com) has successfully cemented her career as a young Hollywood actress from the plethora of television and film roles she has already established under her belt.

The Geneva brunette beauty made her film debut in the horror ‘I Live to Kill’ in 2009, but it was her starring roles, opposite internationally respected actors Ron Perlman (‘Hell Boy’) and Malcolm McDowall (‘A Clock Work Orange’) in the crime-drama ‘Elwood’, and more recently as Tory Ellis in the hit ABC TV show ‘Castle’, that rapidly brought her to the media’s attention and secured her Hollywood status.

“The last few years living in Los Angeles has been a roller-coaster dream come true.” said Maya “I have been very fortunate to be consistently busy working on some wonderful projects, with great roles, that have been able to propel my career further faster.”

Maya, who continues to nurture her craft with a weekly master class at the prestigious Ivana Chubbuck Studio, recently wrapped production on her first leading role on the TV pilot ‘That Guy’ with other notable cast members including Shondrella Avery (‘End of Watch’) and Phil LaMarr (‘Pulp Fiction’). The project, directed by Blake West, is a comedy about a stand-up comedian and his entourage. It was shot recently in Los Angeles.

When Maya isn’t busy filming she passionately promotes the charitable organizations she represents. She is a proud supporter of Art with a Mission at The Midnight Mission, a cause that offers a path to self-sufficiency to men, women and children who have lost everything and offers a compassionate bridge to productive lives, and Maya is also an outreach ambassador for ‘Boo 2 Bullying’, an organization where artists awaken the world to the negativity of bullying and how zero tolerance is the only answer to create a safe learning environment for youth.
