Los Angeles, CA (December 4th, 2013) – Interactive Donor Corp., a New York incorporated Benefit Corporation branded as iDonor (givingtuesday.idonor.me), hosted an unforgettable inaugural night of ‘igniting the 21st Century Philanthropist’ for #GivingTuesday and the launch of the iDonor responsive web and mobile application (widget) dedicated to facilitating micro donation transactions at the Riviera 31, Sofitel Beverly Hills on December 3rd, 2013.

The ‘igniting the 21st Century Philanthropist’ red carpet event, hosted by French Tuesday Productions, took place on #GivingTuesday, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving and was well attended by iDonor’s non-profit partners, The Tiger Wood’s Foundation, The Trevor Project, Alzheimer’s Association, Two Wings, Perlan Project, Reach Out Worldwide and Peace4Kids, as well as special guests Dr. David Bull (‘Sugar Dome’), Nathalia Ramos (‘House of Anubis’), Katherine Castro (‘The Social Contract’), Eugene Simon (‘Game of Thrones’) and the Mayor of West Hollywood, Abbe Land, who presented Ken Brenner, Founder of Interactive Donor Corp with a City Proclamation.

“The holidays are a time to reflect on what we are thankful for, and #GivingTuesday reminds us that the spirit of the holidays is about community,” said West Hollywood Mayor Abbe Land. “The need for charitable donations remains very high. Whether you are passionate about your local community or those in need in other parts of the world, #GivingTuesday is a great opportunity to give back. I encourage everyone to set aside a little from their holiday budget to give back to a cause they care about.”

Ken Brenner, Founder of Interactive Donor Corp. added “It was such an honor to be presented by the Mayor of West Hollywood with a City Proclamation and endorse iDonor and #GivingTuesday. We have begun a movement which will truly ‘ignite the 21st Century Philanthropist’ and will change philanthropy from now and in to the future.”

The evening was a celebration of philanthropy and giving to ignite the world’s next generation of philanthropists. The iDonor widget allows individuals to easily give to the charities and causes they support by providing them with the ability to search a database of over 1.8 million registered 501c (3) nonprofits. The next generation of donors are all about choice, transparency, innovation and ease of use and the iDonor donation widget is the evolution of the ‘Donate Now’ button that puts the power of giving in the palm of the user’s hand and makes it easier to give from anywhere at any time.

iDonor offers a more engaging and rewarding donation experience. The widget provides people with the ability to choose their own personal giving while having an opportunity to win daily Giving Prizes which will be delivered to the winners via an electronic gift card (eGift Cards) to shop at over 40 national retailers. Daily winners will receive and redeem their eGift Card on their mobile devices and will be able to redeem their prize with brands like Gap, Starbucks, JC Penney, Nike, Amazon, and many more. Daily prize draws will be made for the entire month of December to reward the consumer for their giving.
