Los Angeles (February 16th 2011) – Celebrity guests are set to join Daniela Brazil (www.danielabrazil.com) in celebrating Rio de Janeiro for a formidable carnival atmosphere of music, dance and traditional energetic and colorful entertainment supported by the Consulate General of Brazil in Los Angeles with confirmed attendance by Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa of Los Angeles.
The vibrant RIO CARNIVAL event will present six Brazilian samba dancers in stunning Brazilian samba costumes, choreographed and produced by celebrity dancer Daniela Brazil. The show band for the evening, “Brazil Brazil”, by Sonia Santos and Ana Gazola, comprises of a seven piece band playing exuberant Brazilian music plus Go Go Dancers in full costume dancing with guests to create the authentic Carnival feel experienced in Brazil during these festivities
Celebrity dancer, Daniela Brazil, has danced with some world class talents including NEO, Nelly and Will Smith. She has appeared on hit shows like Jay Leno, Ellen, Telemundo, Univision and KTLA, and danced all over the world at primetime awards ceremonies like the Nickelodeon Awards, BET Awards, VIBE Awards to name a few.
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Daniela grew up in the mystical surroundings of this marvelous city which infused her adoration for dance and performance. She wanted to share her love and passion for her culture as well as her extensive dance experience and abundance of energy and bring her creation the ‘OYA BRAZIL SAMBA SHOW’ to Los Angeles for an infectious night to remember.
