~ Comedians Stand-Up for the Wounded Warrior Project at the LAFFEST X-Mas Party at The Comedy Store Hollywood ~
Hollywood, CA (December 5th 2013) – LAFFEST (www.laffest.com), the media platform designed as the career network hub for comedians, is inviting you and some of the entertainment industry’s funniest comedians to stand-up for Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.com). Join us at the LAFFEST X-Mas Red Carpet Party on December 16th at The Comedy Store in West Hollywood, California.
The LAFFEST X-Mas Party will be hosted by Cort McCown as Bad Santa, with comedy performances from Bryan Callen (The Hangover), Neil Brennan (The Chappelle Show), Harland Williams (Dumb and Dumber) and Steve Simone (Comedy Central) for the two hour special as well as surprise ‘drop in’ celebrity comics throughout the night.

LAFFEST will donate proceeds from the event to Wounded Warrior Project, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to honor and empower Wounded Warriors. WWP serves to raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of severely injured service men and women; help severely injured service members aid and assist each other; and provide unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs.
The Los Angeles based technology company Verge Media, developed the LAFFEST software with a fun and interactive three tier functionality for working and aspiring artists. LAFFEST is organizing the comedy community, within that community budding comedians can promote their personal profile page, upload and show case their work, access talent scouts, producers, agents and venues seeking comedians to perform, network with likeminded individuals and expand their outreach of fans through targeted and advanced social media marketing. The platform invites comedians to set up a profile, showcase their work, network with peers, fans and critics, and take part in the online Comedy Festival to win thousands of dollars a month, and get Stage Invitations for high profile Showcase Events and Award Shows.
