‘How To Rob A House’ Steals the Best Script Award at Cinephone International Smartphone Short Film Festival in Barcelona
Polish-born actor Adi Spektor (www.adispektor.com), and 2014 iPhone Film Festival juror, has made his directorial debut with his award-winning comedy horror short film ‘How to Rob a House’, which was completely created on an iPhone 5s mobile device.
The award-winning smartphone short film, written and directed by Spektor, recently received rave reviews when it was one of the top two finalists at the 4th Olleh International Smartphone Film Festival in South Korea and has now just picked up Best Script Award at the 3rd edition of the Cinephone International Film Festival in Barcelona (www.cinephone.org/spain).

Produced by Blue Phantom Productions in association with Vegan Cannibals ‘How to Rob a House’ stars Dave Vescio (‘Hick’), Amato D’Apolito (‘Hollywood Inc.’), Peter Wrobel (‘Chasing Happiness’) and Adi Spektor (‘Cross’), and follows two thieves who receive a tip on a house that they can’t pass up. However they get confused on the details and when they arrive for the job the homeowner is there. Even their plan to escape from the house fails and they are left to the mercy of the mysterious homeowner.
The USA premiere of ‘How to Rob a House’ will be held on October 11th at the 15th Annual Polish Film Festival in Hollywood. This year’s prestigious festival, which kicks off on October 7th, will host many Polish celebrities including French actress Emmanuelle Seigner-Polanski who is set to be receiving an award.
